Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour or 500 gr
  • 1 packet instant dry yeast 7g
  • 300 ml 1 ¼ cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey for boiling water
  • Egg wash: 1 beaten egg or milk
  • Your favorite toppings

Instructions
 

  • In a stand mixer with a dough hook, mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and water for 10 minutes.
  • Cover with a damp towel and let it rise for 1-2 hours.
  • Divide dough into 8 pieces, shape into bagels, and preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F).
  • Bring water to a boil, add 1 tbsp honey, and boil bagels for 30 sec per side.
  • Place on a parchment-lined tray, brush with egg wash or milk, add toppings, and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Enjoy fresh or freeze for later!
